I was scrolling through Instagram one evening, and this ad kept showing up in my feed. At that time, I really had never had a monthly subscription service, but a new perfume a month? Well, that sounded intriguing. I did a little more searching and several of my favorite YouTubers had videos talking about SCENTBIRD. So, I signed up. Where to start? There were so many scents to try! One scent I kept hearing about was YSL’s Black Opium. So, that was my first choice. When I got the email that my package had been mail, I was so excited. Then, I got the message it had been delivered. I could not wait to get home and open it. It came in the cutest little black bag, and when you open it, there’s a little black velvet pouch that has your perfume in it. It’s the neatest little component, and when you twist the sprayer pops up. That’s when I noticed…I was sent Tom Ford’s Black Orchid 😪. I sent Scentbird an email, and they were so quick to respond, very friendly, and apologetic. They sent me out Black Opium right away. In the meantime, I tried TF Black Orchid…OMG. I loved it instantly. So, I guess I owe Scent bird a big THANK YOU, because I don’t think I would have ever purchased this on my own. So, I’m going to share a few scents that SCENTBIRD made me buy, in a full size…

Tom Ford Black Opium is a rich, sensual, dark, spicy, sexy fragrance. I like to wear this in the fall and winter months. It is one of the longest lasting perfumes that I own. This perfume is what made me fall in love with patchouli.

YSL Black Opium this is a very feminine scent. Which is different for me because most of my scents are unisex. But, the sweet vanilla and rich coffee in this perfume is just so intoxicating…and men absolutely loves this. The only negative thing I can say, is that it’s not very long lasting. But, luckily I still have this in my Scentbird travel component 😘 I’m not sure if Scentbird still offers this scent or not, but if they do…it’s definitely worth picking up.

Malin+Goetz Dark Rum this is a great everyday scent. With the top notes of bergamot, plum, anise. And middle notes of leather, rum, vanilla, And the winding down base notes of patchouli, amber, milk. Makes this a perfect unisex perfume.

Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb when I first tried this scent, I did not like it. It set at the back of my vanity and I just kinda forgot about it. Then, one day at work…I was talking to a friend and I asked what perfume she was wearing…her response was Flowerbomb. I was shocked! I went home and tried this scent again, I thought…I kinda like it. I don’t know if it was because it was the season or what. But, I fell in love with Flowerbomb. It was floral, and I can smell the rose and jasmine, but the vanilla and patchouli is what I love. I love it so much that I bought the 3.4 oz perfume, body lotion. and the hair mist.

Thierry Mugler Angel this is a very unique fragrance in my collection. And if someone is wearing this perfume, I instantly know what it is. It’s a very warm and cozy scent, it must be the chocolate and honey notes that make me feel like that. A little goes a long way with this perfume. But it’s so perfect for fall nights sitting around outside when it starts to get cooler.
